Responsibilities

April has overall responsibility for the day-to-day
operations of Mar West Real Estate, including property
accounting, corporate accounting and service
delivery/quality control.

Professional Experience

April brings to her current assignment a 24 year career in the real estate and telecommunications industries. Her real estate experience has encompassed strategic planning, acquisition/disposition due diligence, property management, leasing, vendor management, budgeting, profit & loss accountability, and financial analysis/reporting.

As a Principal of Mar West Ventures, April brings to the firm a deep background in real estate, complimented by cellular broadcast tower leasing/management, and high-speed Internet access and telecommunications services. During her employment with CB Richard Ellis, Tooley & Company and The Muller Company as a Sr. Property Manager, April performed property management on a variety of commercial buildings, commercial associations & common areas. Larger assignments included; Koll Center Newport (1.3 mm sq. ft. high-rise, mixed use property with multiple ownership entities & large common area), Orange Financial Center (385,000 sq. ft. Mid-Rise Office building), and Stadium Towers Plaza (315,000 sq. ft. high-rise office building).

Through her association with Spectrasite, InBuilding and Eziaz, Inc., April gained invaluable knowledge of the cellular broadcast and high speed Internet access industries and was instrumental in negotiating ownership right assignments on 4,700 cell tower leases, negotiating/closing over 500 building Internet access agreements in 53 major U.S. markets and delivering telecommunications services to a variety of business tenants.
