Professional Experience

Debra brings to Mar West Real Estate over 32 years of experience in Operational Management, Accounting and Human Resources from a career spanning such industries as commercial real estate, financial services, information technology and healthcare. As Vice President of Mar West Real Estate, Debra is responsible for the day to day Operations, Human Resources, and IT functions, as well as managing the Administrative Department of the firm. Her prior experience includes a deep background in Operational Management complimented by vast experience in both Accounting and Human Resources. Debra’s held leadership positions at Cushman & Wakefield, New England Financial (MetLife), American Express Financial Advisors, Diamond Link Inc. (parent company Mitsubishi Electric) and Executive Career Services, as Operations Manager & Branch Administrator & Human Resources Manager. She has lead branch operations and was in charge of Telecommunications, Project Management, Information Technology, Facilities Management, Human Resources, Staff Administration, Recruitment, Employee Benefits and Payroll Administration.

Debra’s operational management expertise has been garnered through the relocation of numerous branch offices that included the successful transition of data and telecom services, negotiation of vendors contracts and lease agreements, and the coordination of fixed assets with minimal down time. She has been instrumental in establishing Human Resources departments within start-up and smaller entrepreneurial environments. Specific accomplishments include implementing policies and procedures, employee benefit plans, recruitment, employee handbooks and establishing employment files resulting in passing several healthcare and financial services compliance audits.
